ChowNow Restaurant Marketing Items

  • Project Manager

ChowNow offers a plethora of digital and print marketing offers to their restaurant clients for purchase on the ChowNow Marketing Store. The purpose of these offerings were to take the complication of creating and distributing marketing out of their hands and give them an easy way to promote their online ordering and their apps. I was tasked with creating templates for all our restaurant clients that were easily customizable.

Promotional cards

When a client signs up, we offer them a complimentary package of 500 5” x 7” cards to promote their online ordering platform on their website. Creating this template had a few challenges, such as conforming to the client’s branding. We put the client’s branding through hierarchy first by highlighting their unique food, having their logo at the forefront, and allowing the message of ordering online below.

One problem we ran into was that clients gave us different styles of food images. Our fix for that was offering two layouts that catered to a horizontal and vertical food image.

I created an informational calendar with all the designs.

Monthly Taste

We offer a monthly email subscription service to our clients where we build out and send out branded promotional emails to their customers every month to promote their online ordering. I created these templates to highlight the restaurant’s food and branding. The promotion is large and matches the call to action to guide the user to order online.

I created an informational calendar with all the designs.

Subscription Promotional Cards

In addition to our Monthly Taste, we have a subscription service for postcards. In this instance, we created four separate designs that the restaurants get quarterly. This way they can buy the service and receive four unique promotional 5x6 cards which can be customized with any promotion. With these cards, I wanted all four designs to feel cohesive, yet unique enough that each card looked different.

I created a calendar that outlines all four designs.

The Appetizer Bundle Pack

One of the final things that was important to me for this project was making sure that all the designs looked branded to the restaurant and created a coherent design when seen together.
